The World Changed. Many People Didn’t Know Where to Put Their Pain.

Over the last few years, the world broke open in ways none of us were prepared for.
COVID blurred the lines between home and burden.
Burnout became a quiet epidemic.
And then, for those of us living here — October 7th arrived, and everything changed again.

People carried fear, exhaustion, loss, and uncertainty inside them —
but life demanded that they keep functioning.

There was no space to fall apart.
There was no early signal to say:
“Something in you is getting too heavy. Slow down. You deserve care.”

HAVEN was born from that missing space.

Before We Break: My Story, and the Birth of HAVEN

Hi again, I am Omer — Co-Founder & Developer of HAVEN

and this is my story. and HAVEN's.

I served in the police until an injury on duty ended my career and left me facing a different kind of battle — one without uniforms, ranks, or structure.
The injury stayed with me. So did the memories. So did the weight.

I live in Sderot, where stress isn’t an event — it’s the background noise of life.
You learn to function on top of it… until one day you can’t.

After the injury came recovery…
And after recovery came October 7th.

That day shattered me — and everyone around me — into pieces.
It took me more than two years to gather myself, and to hold the people I love together using whatever tools I had:
my training, my MA in clinical criminology, my experience with trauma, my instinct to protect.

But I couldn’t save everyone.

In 2025, I lost friends, colleagues, and people I loved to suicide.
Too many.
Too fast.
Too quietly.

That’s when I understood something simple and devastating:

People don’t break in the dramatic moments.
They break slowly, silently, long before anyone notices.
Long before they notice themselves.

Not because they are weak.
But because they are human.
Because they were carrying everything alone.
Because no safe space existed before the collapse.

And that is the moment HAVEN was born.

HAVEN exists to protect human beings in the space before breaking —
the place where small signals matter, where gentle awareness can save lives,
where people feel seen without being judged, labeled, or diagnosed.

HAVEN is not “another mental health app.”

It is the next evolution of human emotional-safety technology.

Why HAVEN Must Exist

HAVEN is not another wellness app.

It’s a gentle space, built from everything I’ve lived, studied, and witnessed:

  • Clinical criminology

  • Behavioral science

  • Trauma-aware work

  • AI and predictive systems

  • Real human suffering

  • Real human resilience

HAVEN is what I wish existed for me — and for thousands of others — before the collapse, before the burnout, before the breakdown, before the moment life becomes too heavy to hold.

But HAVEN does something different:
It does not diagnose, score, label, or predict.

It simply reflects the small daily shifts we stop noticing —
so people can feel themselves again.

The Vision Moving Forward

We’re building HAVEN slowly, safely, and ethically.

A system that:

Listens without storing your voice
Understands without judging
Reflects without predicting
Supports without controlling
Protects your data fiercely
Remains independent so we never have to sell your privacy
Makes it truly safe to be human

We envision HAVEN becoming:

  • a worldwide early-awareness companion

  • a universal layer of emotional safety

  • a trauma-aware tool that honors dignity

  • an accessible support for people who feel “almost not okay”

  • a calm place to breathe before life spirals

This is prevention-before-collapse.

This is dignity-before-diagnosis.

Why We Need Support

We chose the hardest path:

No ads.
No marketing data selling.
No profiling.
No shortcuts.

HAVEN is being built with:

  • strong encryption

  • minimal data collection

  • trauma-aware UX

  • an internal research department (HDA)

  • careful, safe AI

  • optional wearable integration

  • ethical constraints most companies avoid

This makes HAVEN safer — but more expensive to develop.

Your support helps us:

  • build the next layers of HAVEN

  • keep the app accessible to people who need it

  • fund secure infrastructure

  • expand insights without violating privacy

  • develop HAVEN Kids

  • build accessibility tools

  • create partnerships with therapists, educators, and communities

We want HAVEN to exist without ever compromising the safety or dignity of its users.

That’s only possible with the help of people who believe in this mission.

The Invitation

If you believe the world deserves a gentler kind of technology —
one that protects instead of extracts,
that listens instead of labels,
that sees the human before the data — Then we invite you to support HAVEN.

You're not just donating to an app. You're helping build a system that can quietly change lives — maybe even save them — long before the breaking point.

Let’s build that together.
